ABOUT US
Family Hope Foundation (FHF) is a Non-Profit Organisation registered with the Gauteng Department of Social Development (NPO 249-824 ).
We are a volunteer-initiative assisting with the rehabilitation and healing of families in distress. Our vision is to be an outreach centre for families and children in crisis, walking a road with one family at a time.
It had unofficially started in 2016 in Bosmont in the South-West of Johannesburg, bordering the Flats area in Newclare. The organisation assists children and families in distress to obtain healing and wholeness.
FHF is working currently working with rehabilitation centres and support networks to assist children addicted to inhalant substances (glue) to break their addictions. The scope of work extends to working with these children’s parents through their own addictions, with the aim of achieving wholeness for the Family-unit.

Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

Wilma Calvert/ Retired educator and lay counsellor. My experience spans both primary and secondary school. I am passionate about working with young people and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Rebecca is a registered nurse that has specialized in child and adolescent psychiatric nursing.
She has been involved for the past 3 years.
